Our Current Projects

Elliott Stables Dining Precinct

Venue Evolution - Elliott Stables

As hospitality specialists consulting to The Icon Group, Mean Business is excited to be helping to reinvent the iconic Elliott Stables.

We’ve been working alongside the management team to redesign and implement a new food strategy and operating model to meet the needs of a new wave of CBD consumers.

To further support this project, we’re working with the landlord to select tenants that best support the precinct’s new vision, assist with the onboarding of these tenants, and help the existing tenants fine-tune their food offerings.

An exciting new crop of tenants have already recently opened their doors with more to come in the months ahead.

Restaurant Coaching - Fat Puku’s

Fat Puku’s is a relatively new opening ready to give the burger game a real “shake”-up.

The concept is about more than simply providing customers with the most delicious smashed burgers and an amazing drinks menu. It’s about the delivery of the owners’ vision of bringing people together in a cool environment. . . and having a blast along the way!

We’re really excited to working alongside the owners as hospitality specialists in shoring up their operation, helping them scale their business and, just as importantly, delivering their vision.

Queenstown Food Barn

Queenstown Central, is partnering with Mean Business to provide hospitality consultancy services to an exciting new shared dining initiative.

We’re thrilled to have been involved from the initial concept development, assisting with the design, operational planning, tenancy design and commercial planning.

A substantial bar anchors the development to be supported by a range of colourful food offerings targeting both locals and domestic tourists seven days a week. The outdoor courtyard will be the ideal place to unwind after a day on the slopes, or to enjoy those long southern summer evenings.

“It’s been really nice dealing with someone who knows what they're doing, has great experience to draw on, and also has genuine concern for the wellbeing of our business; as well as just being a good guy”.
