Venue Review & Strategy - Auckland International Airport

Mean Business was engaged by Auckland International Airport to help them reimagine their future food offering.

Utilising our Food Precinct Benchmarking System, Mean Business undertook a detailed review of each food retail business within the International Terminal Building, as well as the food offering itself.

The findings of this review, along with the recommendations we provided, are being used to evolve the airport’s food and beverage strategy for the years ahead, while also providing the current tenants with recommendations to enhance their customer offering.

Restaurant Advisory - Fat Puku’s

Fat Puku’s the country’s leading purveyor of smashed burgers, slinging incredible food from their two site in Queen St and Wynyard Quarter.

The concept is about more than simply providing customers with the most delicious smashed burgers and an amazing drinks menu. It’s about the delivery of the owners’ vision of bringing people together in a cool environment. . . and having a blast along the way!

We’re really excited to working alongside the owners as hospitality specialists in shoring up their operation, helping them scale their business and, just as importantly, delivering their vision.

Building Development - The Strang Kainga

Whakatane’s Ngati Awa are honouring a very special riverside site with a high-quality restaurant and tourism hub.

Ngati Awa, and Drive Project Management have engaged Mean Business to develop business plans, feasibility studies and design reviews for their new hospitality and tourism development on the banks of the beautiful Whakatane River.

This is an important legacy project for the iwi that will not only provide them with a valuable long-term asset but will also assist with local job creation and further rejuvenation of this important part of the city.
